Description: The intersection of California and Polk has had its ups and downs over the years, but Crustacean has managed to survive thanks to its reputation as a quality restaurant. Opened by the same folks who operate Thanh Long, this seafood eatery is best known for its crab dishes and garlic noodles. Despite its location on top of a corner mall, the interior of Crustacean is fairly posh; the murals on the wall effectively create an undersea ambiance.

Crustacean was among the first in the city to take a stab at Asian fusion style cuisine and remains one of the area's best restaurants. With the Tenderloin once again becoming an entertainment destination for hipsters, reservations to this seafood mecca are recommended.
