Harrison Ford is going to ride solo for the next Indiana Jones movie. His screen father, Sean Connery said that he won't be back.In a statement on the official Indiana Jones Web site Thursday, Connery said that constant inquiries about whether or not he would return for the film led him to make it official.Connery, who played Dr. Henry Jones in 1989's "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," retired from acting in 2005."I thought long and hard about it and if anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film," Connery said in the statement. "I love working with Steven (Spielberg) and George (Lucas), and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun."The 76-year-old actor also offered some playful advice for his screen son."I, do however, have one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator!" Connery said in the statement. "This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break a leg, everyone.' I'll see you on May 22, 2008, at the theater!"Starring along with Ford for the yet-untitled "Indiana Jones" film are Cate Blanchett, Shia LeBeouf, Ray Winstone and John Hurt. Spielberg and Lucas will return to their director and producer duties, respectfully.Connery, who became a screen icon as James Bond in 1960s, has also starred in such films as "Murder on the Orient Express," "Robin and Marian," "Highlander," "The Hunt for Red October" and "The Rock."He won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "The Untouchables" in 1988.Connery's last film gig was in "The League of Extraordinary Gentleman" in 2003.
