Spielberg Makes Announcement To Comic-Con Fans

Marion Ravenwood is coming back for another "Indiana Jones" adventure.Appearing via satellite to attendees of the San Diego Comic-Con Thursday, Steven Spielberg introduced Karen Allen as newest cast member to join the fourth "Indiana Jones" movie.Allen starred as Ravenwood -- Indiana Jones' (Harrison Ford) tough love interest in the first film in the series, 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark."Ford and stars Shia LeBeouf and Ray Winstone appeared with Spielberg for the announcement. At one point Spielberg appeared to be revealing the name of the new movie, but pretended to have his mic cut as after he said "Indiana Jones and ..."The yet-to-be-named fourth "Indiana Jones" movie also stars Cate Blanchett, John Hurt and Jim Broadbent. The film is due in theaters May 2008.Allen's other film credits include "Starman" and "Scrooged," and more recently, "The Perfect Storm" and "In the Bedroom." The 55-year-old performer made her debut in "Animal House" in 1978.

Abrams Thursday introduced "Heroes" villain Zachary Quinto as the new Spock in "Star Trek XI."Quinto was accompanied by Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in the original "Star Trek" television series and subsequent movies featuring the original cast.Abrams said that Nimoy will appear in the next "Star Trek" film, and it's likely that William Shatner, who played Captain James T.
