Lisa Marie Presley is expressing her condolences over Jett Travolta's death and defending Scientology, the religion that Presley, John Travolta and Kelly Preston follow.

Scientologists Respond To Travolta Death

Presley's MySpace blog on Tuesday read: "I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and-or attack Scientology."

The daughter of late rock 'n' roll icon also wrote that it was untrue that Scientologists do not believe in medical care and insisted if "a medication will make it better then they take it."

A coroner's report concluded that Jett Travolta died from a seizure after he was found unconscious in his family's vacation home in the Bahamas on Friday.

Travolta's lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott, told TMZ earlier this week that the seizures the Jett Travolta suffered were "frequent and extremely serious." They told the site that "each seizure was like a death," with Jett losing consciousness and convulsing.

TMZ also reported that to treat the seizures, Jett Travolta previously took Depakote, which the site described as "a strong anti-seizure medication" -- but the use of the medication was discontinued because its effectiveness wore off over time.

The site said that reports that John Travolta refused to give his son anti-seizure medications because of his Scientology beliefs were not true.
