Fox Seeks Handy Couples For 'The Complex'

Posted: 5:33 pm PDT July 17, 2003Updated: 3:16 pm PST November 12, 2003

If you and your partner have a flair for style, an eye for detail and the skill and know-how to make your home-improvement ideas a reality, you just might be the kind of couple that Fox is looking for to participate in its newest reality series, 'The Complex.' The show will provide a once-in-a-lifetime chance for people to work with the person they love and make some money too.

'The Complex' will feature four couples selected to move into a condominium complex in Southern California. The couples will have two months to renovate their own unit within a specific budget. When finished, the condos will be sold at public auction and the couples will be allowed to keep any profits they make. The couple that makes the most money will also win an additional cash prize.

A series built around the same concept has been airing as 'The Block' in Australia. The finale broadcast this past August drew the highest rating of any show in the country over the past 15 years. The show is seeking out real-life couples who have what it takes to live and work together on a dream project. Here is the information on the open Bay Area casting call for 'The Complex.'
