The show features small, water media paintings but with large ideas. The watercolor society is honored to have Think Large---Paint Small juried by internationally known watercolorist Charlotte Huntley. Her work hangs on five continents. Huntley has juried more than ten shows in California and is a signature member of 34 art societies. She is also an inspiring workshop teacher and has been a contributor to nine publications.When Huntley juries for awards--in addition to technical skill, a strong abstract basis and variety in size, texture, value and color--she looks for, "a different approach to an often-seen subject, breathtaking color, and something that touches my psyche or heart."
