The parent visit is a required step in the admissions process and lasts about 60 minutes. It includes time to observe the classroom and meet with a Sand Hill School staff member to ask questions and find out more about the Sand Hill program. Parent visits are scheduled on Thursdays, 10:30-11:30 AM.
**NOTE: Please RSVP for the exact number of people attending to allow for proper accommodation in the classroom.
Sand Hill School at Children’s Health Council is a private school offering a personalized learning environment for children who are bright but who are struggling in a conventional classroom.
Specializing in early support for struggling learners, Sand Hill School teachers collaborate with Children’s Health Council’s specialists to create the path for each student’s successful transition to a traditional classroom. Sand Hill School serves grades K-4, limits class size to 10 students and offers two teachers for every classroom as well as in-classroom support from Children’s Health Council’s child development specialists. Specialists may include: educational specialists, art therapists, behavioral specialists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and more.
