Five Speakers:Maz Jadallah, Founder and CEO, AlphaCloneMr. Jadallah serves as Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer. Maz is a veteran financial and investment analyst having spent 12-years at Time Warner Inc (1997 to 2004) and OpenTV Inc (2004-2008) serving as an adviser to senior management. AlphaClone combines Maz's three passions, analysis, investing and technology. The firm was born out of Maz's work creating the dataset and technology required to perform the investment analysis which underpins AlphaClone's investment strategies today. Maz is a registered investment advisor representative and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Level 2 candidate. He holds an MBA with honors in Finance and Management from Rollins College and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. Scott Juds, President and CEO, SumGrowth Strategies, LLCMr. Juds has over 30 years' experience in both hands-on and executive-level positions at companies including piTech Engineering, IDX Incorporated, MobilServ Technologies Corp. and EATON Corporation, Opcon Division. Scott is the named inventor on over 40 U.S. and foreign patents and is a published author of Photoelectric Sensors and Controls: Selection & Application. He holds a BSEE from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an MSEE from Stanford University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Washington Al Zmyslowski, Individual Investor, AAII Chapter Board Member for Computerized InvestingMr. Zmysiowski is an individual investor, a long-time member of AAII and leads the chapter’s Computerized Investing group. Al is an experienced personal investor who has successfully managed several portfolios for himself and others using quantitative investment techniques. He is particularly interested in using computerized investing systems that result in good performance, infrequent trading and a low expenditure of time. Paul Charbonnet, Founding Partner, Investors FastTrackMr. Charbonnet is well-known in the computerized investing community. FT4Web has been a leading investment software program for more than 20 years, and is used by thousands of professionals and individual subscribers. He created FastTrack in 1989 after his communications software was sold to 3Comm in 1988. FastTrack provides simple, easy to understand investing strategies, using quality, daily dividend-adjusted fund and stock data. Charbonnet’s degree is in biology, and his early work involved computerized simulation of living, growing natural systems. Investors FastTrack is located in Baton Rouge, La Marc H. Gerstein, Independent Investment Analyst/ConsultantMr. Gerstein is an investment analyst and commentator and author of Screening the Market (Wiley, 2002) and The Value Connection (Wiley 2003) which specializes in rules-based equity investing strategies that go beyond the “hot” stocks one hears most about. His searches are far and wide for companies (whether widely publicized or little known) that demonstrate fundamental excellence. Marc has been using stock screeners since the mid-1990s, and has been actively backtesting since 2008, when he worked with Portfolio123.com and StockScreen123.com. Gerstein’s strategies incorporate all major investment styles (growth, value, quality and sentiment – he is non-judgmental as to how stocks demonstrate excellence; he just wants them do it).
