The Oakland Civic Orchestra presents “Musical Ironies,” on Sunday, November 11 at 4 p.m. at Lake Merritt United Methodist Church. The Oakland Civic Orchestra is a volunteer community orchestra that has provided free classical music to the community for over twenty years. The program features Wagner’s Overture to Tannhauser, Barber’s Music for a Scene by Shelley, and Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet Suite No. 2. Admission is free.
