This fall GABA's Young Professional group starts a series of coaching events for young professional expats in the Bay area who want to take their career to the next level.
Our first workshop will talk about how to start your career in the U.S. market which has its own obstacles to overcome especially for Europeans who are not familiar with this environment. The focus of this workshop is for participants to understand how Silicon Valley employers approach the hiring process and to learn ways to best define and communicate their unique value to a prospective employer. This will be accomplished through examples and participants using templates provided to create their own personal value proposition. These will be shared with feedback provided.
The workshop will be hosted by Jennifer Vessels, CEO of Next Step who holds many years of experiences in consulting and training Fortune 100 companies, medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations.
