This mosaic medium lends itself to both the novice and experienced artist or crafter. It is a more traditional use of glass tiles along with stained glass and glass pieces. You will create a simple design using your own idea or patterns available in the studio. These will be transferred onto backer board and then brought to life using the rich mix of bright primary and jewel tones of glass. You will also be guided in the use of the glass cutter and glass wheel-nippers along with instruction in mixing grout and using the appropriate adhesives for glass. You will learn how to make beautiful mosaics for yourself or as gifts.
