Palliative Care Nursing Day-long Course When:         Friday February 15, 2013 at Fairmont Campus, Special Dining Room                          Who is Invited?: We invite all Nurses and Nurse Assistants from Highland and Fairmont campuses. We also invite Social Work, Respiratory Therapists and other health-care staff members interested in learning more about Palliative Concepts and how to improve care for all our patients. Many changes have been made to the curriculum from last years’ course. Course Curriculum will include Pain and Symptom Management, Communication, Cultural Sensitivity, Spiritual Care, and Palliative Nursing in the Final Hours.
