The San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber is working with the youth employment agency TeenForce to find 100 foster youth jobs in 2013. TeenForce and the Foster Youth Employement Coalition recruits and prepares the candidates, ensuring they have completed 18 hours of work-readiness and skills training. Learn how you can fill your current job openings and internships with well-prepared foster youth. They are not looking for a handout, they are looking for a hand-up. Teenforce can serve as your company's hiring or employment agency, handling all payroll, workers' comp and other matters. Eligible youth range in age from 14-24 and are very diverse.
