You'll learn about physical characteristics and how scientists can use structure to classify animals. In the crayfish (an invertebrate), you'll observe and describe an exoskeleton, walking legs and gills. In the perch (a vertebrate), you'll observe and describe a backbone, a swim bladder and gills. This fun activity also helps you realize that you really could become surgeons or scientists!
