Nasim Fekrat is arguably Afghanistan’s most well-known blogger. He has run several workshops throughout Afghanistan, where he teaches blogging and online journalism to Afghans. His efforts and works were recognized in 2005 by RSF (Reporters without Borders) in France, and 2008 by ISF (Information Safety and Freedom) in Siena, Italy. He is also editor of the Afghan Lord blog and director of the Association of Afghan Blog Writers (AABW). His photography work has been shown at international photo exhibitions in Berlin, Turin, and Kabul at the United Nations compound.Fekrat is a political science student in his senior year at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He continues to contribute to BBC, CNN, Foreign Policy, NATO Review, Nieman Watchdog, and many other publications in Afghanistan and elsewhere. He has also given talks on Afghan issues in academic and professional environments, as well as interviews for BBC World service, BBC Radio 4, BBC Persian, VOA, North Carolina Public Radio, War News Radio and some Afghan local channels.www.afghanlord.org www.fekrat.org www.kabuli.org
