In recognition of the two year anniversary of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster in the northeast region of Japan, "Tohoku Insights 2013: Live Conversations with Japan" will feature updates and insights via live Skype calls from Peace Boat Disaster Relief Volunteer Center and Think the Earth, an NPO in Ishinomaki, Japan, and will be streamed live over the internet at http://coreography.com/s/sj.The event will take place Saturday, March 9th, 6pm at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose. A panel discussion will take place after to talk about how to support the ongoing relief efforts. Participating organizations include: Japantown Business Association, Japantown Community Congress, Yu-Ai Kai, Japanese American Museum of San Jose, the Consulate General of Japan, San Francisco, and Design2Market.Space is limited.
