Children are encouraged to add on to other’s creations and add to our “communal canvas.”March: Watercolor with Special Effects Painting with watercolors provides an opportunity for children to investigate brush strokes as well as to mix colors. Children will also be able to investigate the intersection of art and science as they explore the ways that watercolor reacts with special materials, such as crayons or salt. April: Animal Homes Children will explore various natural materials as they use their imaginations to combine them in different ways, making animal homes and landscapes for animal figurines.
