Allie Rasmus said, "It's not Christmas for me without the nutcracker. When I was two years old my mom took me to see the Oakland Ballet's Nutcracker. Every year since then I've either performed in or gone to see a performance of the nutcracker."

Gasia with her brother in 1996: Their Mother made the Santa suit… and he’s carrying a stick, because there is an Armenian Christmas carol that says Santa carries a big sack of toys in one hand… and a stick (for the bad children!) in the other.

Maureen Naylor says, "For many, many years my family was fortunate enough to go to my Great Aunt and Uncle's Christmas party on the Peninsula. We would drive up from Sunnyvale and found on this night, our biggest Christmas wishes came true."

This is producer Sophie's St. Nicholas Day Tradition. "On the night of December 5th, you leave your shoe in the window. If you are good you will find small presents in your shoe the next morning from Saint Nick."

Frank Somerville says "Our tradition was going to see Santa at Macy's in Union Square. Then my two girls each got to pick out one ornament at Macy's. Then we'd have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and sometimes we'd also go ice skating."
