Snyder Activated From DL, Hammock Optioned

POSTED: 4:52 pm PDT July 20, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks activated catcher Chris Snyder from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday, and he went 0-for-2 with an RBI in the club's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Snyder missed the last 14 games with a left testicular fracture.

To make room for Snyder on the roster, the D'Backs optioned catcher Robby Hammock to Triple-A Tucson. Hammock had gone 3-for-19 in his second stint in the big leagues this season.
