They are heroes in training.
Saturday, more than two dozen puppies were taken through Oakland International Airport.
They're learning how to help blind passengers get through security and ticketing.
50 dog handlers and 25 puppies in training participated in Saturday's event.
This is a partnership between Alaska Airlines and trainers with "Guide Dogs for the Blind."
Together, they hope to give blind passengers more freedom to travel independently.
