Toronto, ON -- (Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors exercised the team option on forward Jamario Moon for the 2008-09 season. Per club policy, terms of the pact were not disclosed.The six-foot-eight, 205-pounder was signed as a free agent by the Raptors on July 10, 2007 following successful stints in the NBA Development League and the Continental Basketball Association. Moon appeared in 78 games for Toronto this past season, averaging 8.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, which ranked second on the team, and a team-best 1.38 blocks. He also helped guide the Raptors to a 41-41 regular season record, the sixth-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, as the club fell to the Orlando Magic in the first round of the playoffs. Moon was also named to the 2007-08 All-Rookie Second Team.
