SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency crews will be working around the clock this weekend to replace Muni tracks in San Francisco's West Portal District. Track replacement is scheduled on Ulloa Street between Lenox Way and Forest Side Avenue and in the intersection of West Portal Avenue and Ulloa Street beginning today at 8 p.m. Work is scheduled to continue through 4 a.m. Monday. The L-Taraval line will remain affected through the weekend and Muni bus substitution will follow the route from West Portal Avenue to the San Francisco Zoo. L-Taraval rail service will resume on its regular route and schedule Monday morning. Track replacement in the area is scheduled to continue through March over four weekends, according to an SFMTA spokeswoman. SFMTA officials warn that construction may intermittently block driveways and include late night work and noise.
