Man Gunned Down On SF Mission District Street

SAN FRANCISCO -- A Hispanic man was shot six times in the back and died of his wounds early Monday as he walked on a San Francisco Mission District Street, according to homicide inspectors. At around 2:10 a.m., police arrived at 127 San Carlos St. near 18th street and discovered a man in his 30s languishing between two parked cars. Though the victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, he was not able to survive his injuries, police said. No suspects have been apprehended and police erre continuing to investigate the fatal shooting.
