SONOMA -- An accident in the El Verano area of unincorporated Sonoma County Thursday ended with a 15-year-old girl crashing a 2000 BMW into an animal hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident was reported at about 1:20 p.m. near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Arnold Drive, according to the CHP. The girl tried to make a U-turn but went too wide and crashed into the hospital, CHP Officer Jaret Paulson said. She was not injured but was transported to an area hospital as a precaution because of her age, Paulson said. The CHP is not releasing her name pending further investigation, Paulson said.
