"The driver was attempting to self-extricate when he was taken into custody…He suffered a serious arm injury, but it (his arm) was intact."The driver was taken to Eden Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery and was listed in critical condition. The driver of the BMW -- a woman from Texas -- suffered minor injuries. The incident remained under investigation.
