SAN FRANCISCO -- Tenderloin neighborhood residents will have a chance to get computer assistance free of charge at San Francisco's St. Anthony Foundation Learning Center Saturday. Technicians from ReliaTech and volunteers for SF Connect will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the learning center to offer diagnosis and repair of computers for those who live in the Tenderloin. "We are grateful to be able to give back to our community, and to help bridge the digital divide by providing high-quality computer service at no cost to some of the city's most poorly-served residents," ReliaTeach CEO Ben Delaney said. SF Connect will also provide free open source and virus protection software as well as technology training. "Working technology is the luxury that is a necessity for Tenderloin residents to become an integral part of the Bay Area workforce," said Karl Robillard, manager of St. Anthony's employment program and learning center. The learning center is located at 119 Golden Gate Ave in San Francisco.
