SAN JOSE -- A teenager who told authorities she was gang raped last year by members of the De Anza College baseball team has filed suit against the players.

The civil suit was filed Monday in Santa Clara County Superior Court. It comes a year after the girl reported she was raped -- and nine months after the Santa Clara County District Attorney decided not to file charges.

The teenager seeks an unspecified amount of money from nine former players and another young man who attended the party. It accuses them of false imprisonment, slander for telling others she consented to have sex with them, and violating her privacy by taking pictures of the alleged assault. She is not identified in the suit.

The men and their attorneys did not immediately return calls for comment.
