Stabbing Victim SF's 34th Homicide Of Year

A man in his 40s was found dead from a stab wound just a few blocks from the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco early Monday morning, said Sgt. Wilfred Williams.

A passerby saw the unidentified man, who was stabbed in the chest, dead on the ground around 12:30 a.m. at Thomas Avenue and Griffith Street in the city's Bayview District, said Williams.

Police have not arrested anyone in connection with the incident.

This is the 34th homicide in San Francisco this year, according to police.
