TRACY, Calif. -- The bodies of all four Oakland men who drowned in a boating accident on the Delta near Tracy have been recovered, authorities said Monday.San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Deputy Les Garcia said the bodies of two of the missing men were recovered late Sunday and the other two were recovered on Monday morning. The men's identities have not been released.Garcia said authorities got 911 calls around 1 a.m. Sunday with reports of screams coming from the water near the Tracy Oasis Marina-Resort.“There were reports to the sheriff’s department that people could hear screams coming for the water,” Garcia said. “It appears there were 10 people inside a 12-14 foot aluminum boat. They had no life preservers. Apparently, the boat sank and six of the 10 were able to make it to safety." The operator of the boat, 43-year-old Daniel Cordova, was arrested on suspicion of boating while intoxicated. He could also face charges of vehicular manslaughter with a vessel, Garcia said. His bail has been set at $400,000, according to the sheriff's office.Search crews and helicopters converged on the delta waters early Sunday. Manteca Fire Department divers also joined the search Sunday.“We have units making surface checks and the Coast Guard is searching the water,” Garcia said. “Right now we are in a recovery mode…There is a lot of debris in the water and if a body is underwater it could get snagged on something and it may take a few days for it to surface.”
