Police Raid SF Hells Angels Clubhouse

SAN FRANCISCO -- Armed with warrants, federal agents and North Bay police officers swooped down upon the San Francisco clubhouse of the Hells Angels and at least two other known hangouts of the group in Sonoma County early Wednesday, searching for evidence in two Petaluma felony assaults currently under investigation.At least one man was arrested at the SF clubhouse on unrelated charges, authorities said.Petaluma Police Captain Dave Sears said his agency’s officers were joined by Santa Rosa police and the FBI in the raids that began at 5 a.m. and included San Francusco's Hells Angels clubhouse at Tennessee and 23rd streets and hangouts at 516 Frazier Ave. in Santa Rosa and 1426 Oakleaf Ave. in Healdsburg.Authorities searched the SF clubhouse aided by search dogs and under the watchful eye of heavily armed officers. They carried out several items from the San Francisco club and loaded them into a U-Haul truck.The material, Sears said, was being sought to move along the felony investigations into assaults committed on Feb. 9 and March 3rd. Two arrests had been already made in both cases prior to the raids.
