Bicyclist Critically Injured After Colliding With Car

A car collided with a 28-year-old man on a bike in Vallejo Saturday afternoon.

Jesus Viado, a resident of the city, was in the 400 block of Redwood Street when the collision occurred at about 2:50 p.m.

He suffered a wound to his head and was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Officer Justin Farrington of the Vallejo Police Department Traffic Division at (707) 648-4329.
