Woman Missing From San Jose-Bound Bus

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- A 59-year-old woman from a group home in Mountain View was reported missing Monday by Mountain View police.Laura Leighty was last seen Friday morning on Valley Transit Authority bus No. 22 heading toward San Jose and she requires daily medication that she may or may not being carrying for a medical condition.She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, has green eyes and wears a her brown hair in a Mohawk hairstyle. Leighty was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue shirt and blue jeans and carrying a large garbage bag full of clothes and an orange handbag. She has a butterfly tattoo on her right wrist.Anyone with information that might help authorities find Leighty is asked to contact the Mountain View Police Department at (650) 903-6344.
