Toddler Found Shot To Death In Hollister

HOLLISTER, Calif. -- Police are investigating the shooting death of an 18-month-old girl found at a Hollister home. San Benito County sheriff's officials say the girl was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest at the house Wednesday morning. They say a .357 magnum was found outside although it's not clear the weapon was used in the shooting. Authorities took two suspects into custody, later releasing one of them. Details about the shooting, including the names of the suspects, were not available. The toddler was expected to undergo an autopsy.
