Cotati Couple Arrested On Drug Charges

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- Rohnert Park police arrested a Cotati couple Thursday on narcotics and child endangerment charges as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Serving a search warrant at a home on Old Redwood Highway in Cotati, office found suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, about $17,000 cash and evidence of drug sales, according to police. They arrested Freddy Franco and Maria Madrigal, both 28. Their 4-year-old daughter and 3-week-old son were placed in protective custody. Franco and Madrigal were booked into Sonoma County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and cocaine for sale and for child endangerment.
