2 homes burn in east Contra Costa County fire

BAY POINT, Calif. (KTVU) - Firefighters are on the scene of a three-alarm fire in Bay Point, in eastern Contra Costa County.

The fire started in a home on North Street, just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Flames spread to the house next door. It took firefighters nearly an hour to put out the fire at both homes.

There are no reports of any injuries but two dogs died.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
