2-year-old girl drowns in family's Antioch swimming pool
ANTIOCH, Calif. (KTVU) - A 2-year-old girl fell into her family swimming pool Wednesday evening and drowned, Antioch police said.
Police officers and the Contra Costa County Fire Department were called to a home on the 4600 block of Durness Court about 8:15 p.m., according to Cprl. Gary Lowther.
When they got there, she was unresponsive, police said. She was taken to the hospital, but efforts to revive her were unsuccessful.
