North Bay Guitarist Gets Pulled Onstage To Play With Stars

ROHNERT PARK -- A teenager from Rohnert Park recently got the unexpected chance to play onstage with Bay Area rock stars Green Day.Sixteen year old Kamran Imran had been playing the guitar for three years. Last week, he and his mother went to Seattle for a Green Day concert.Knowing the band often invites fans on to the stage, Imran yelled that he played guitar.It worked.The teen played for nine minutes and went home with some drum sticks, guitar picks and praise from Rolling Stone magazine's online critic.Clips of young Imran's appearance can be seen on Youtube.com.
