CONTRA COSTA CO. -- Divers found the body of a San Ramon man in Franks Tract State Recreation Area near Bethel Island after he went duck hunting Wednesday and never returned home, Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said Thursday. Family members reported Tim Murray, 45, missing at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. They told investigators that Murray had gone duck hunting with his dog in Franks Tract in unincorporated Contra Costa County and that they hadn't heard from him since 10:30 a.m. The sheriff's office's Marine Patrol Unit, the U.S. Coast Guard and the State Parks Police searched the area and found Murray's boat capsized in the water. They also found his dog, which was unharmed. The search for Murray continued into the evening, but was called off at about 10 p.m., Lee said. Crews resumed their search this morning and found Murray's body near where his boat was found. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
