SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A 20-year-old man was shot to death in San Jose Tuesday evening, police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said. Police received a call at 6:43 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 100 block of North White Road at Warm Springs Drive. Responding officers found the victim and took him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Lopez said it was still too early to determine a motive for the shooting and investigators did not know whether it was gang-related. No suspects have been arrested. The man is the city's 24th homicide victim so far this year. Police do not expect to release any further information about the case until Wednesday morning, Lopez said.
