3-Alarm fire torches Santa Rosa warehouse, vehicles

Firefighters from all over Sonoma County were called to Santa Rosa Wednesday morning to battle a huge fire that damaged a warehouse, several other buildings, and several vehicles.
The fire was reported at about 2:08 a.m. at 737 Wilson Street in the Railroad Square area of town, just west of downtown Santa Rosa.
The first crews called for back-up and the fire was quickly escalated to a 3-alarm response and it took crews about 90 minutes to fully contain the blaze.
The buildings damaged were commercial and didn't have anyone living in them.  According to fire crews, one of the buildings was a warehouse for Copperfield Books.
No  injuries have been reported and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Officials say that fire crews will be working at the scene for several hours and that they may need to call in construction equipment to tear down part of the building.
