3 arrested in sideshow crackdown
ANTIOCH, Calif. (BCN) - Three people were arrested and three vehicles impounded during a "zero tolerance" sideshow enforcement operation Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A sideshow gathering consisting of approximately 200 people gathered at the CVS/AutoZone parking lot on the corner of Lone Tree Way and Golf Course Road, the CHP said in a social media post. The crowd was dispersed before any illegal sideshows began.
Task force units made 91 enforcement stops and issued 42 citations. Two of the arrests were for felonies and one for a misdemeanor.
