Body Found In Burning Car In SF

SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Police Department were seeking two suspects after a man was found shot in the head inside a burning vehicle Thursday night. Police responded to a report of shots fire and a burning vehicle in the 400 block of Harvard Street at the entrance to John McLaren Park at 7:30 p.m., Officer Maria Oropeza reported. Officers found a burning Sport Utility Vehicle with a man still in the driver's seat. Officers pulled the body out of the SUV in an attempt to save the man but discovered that he had been shot in the head, Oropeza reported. The victim is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s. Police are looking for two suspects seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting, Oropeza reported. The suspects are described as a black man and woman in their 20s. They were last seen walking on Harvard Street toward Burrows Street, according to police.
