5 injured in Marina district crash

Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in San Francisco's Marina District late this morning, according to police.

The crash was reported at 11:43 a.m. at Lombard and Divisadero streets, police spokeswoman Officer Giselle Talkoff said.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash and two people have injuries considered life-threatening, Talkoff said. The other three people injured are expected to survive.

Streets in the area were blocked off early this afternoon while emergency crews respond to the scene.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.
