Missing Hayward girl found safely

HAYWARD, Calif. (KTVU) - UPDATE: The Alameda County Sheriff's office says the girl has been found safely. 

Alameda County Sheriff's are searching for a missing girl in Hayward.

Police say 9-year-old Samantha Hernandez was playing outside a nail salon on Mission Boulevard while her mother was inside.

Her mother says she noticed Samantha was missing around 2:50 p.m. Saturday.

Samantha has short black hair in a pony tail. She was wearing a black t-shirt and black leggings with sparkles on them.

She is about 42 inches and 50 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
