Update: The Amber Alert has been canceled. The CHP confirms they deactivated the Amber Alert at the request of Vancouver PD because they were told the mother and daughter are in Mexico. Additional details on why the Amber Alert was canceled have not been released.
An Amber Alert was issued Saturday afternoon at by the California highway patrol on behalf of the Vancouver police department for a four-year-old girl who was abducted Thursday.
The suspect is Esmeralda Lynn Lopez Lopez. She’s 21, Latina, 5 feet tall, 138 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen driving a 2005 Chevy Cobalt with Washington license plate number BLK1552. If seen call 911.
On October 25, 2018, at 1:00 pm, Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez, 4, was abducted from Vancouver, Washington. Police describe the little girl as Latina with blond hair and blue eyes.
The alert was issued around 1 p.m. and is in effect for the following counties only: Marin, Napa, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Merced, Fresno, Kings, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, Stanislaus, Madera, and Tulare.
