Mountain View Police are asking for your help in locating witnesses who were at or who saw an incident occur at the Sports Page Saturday morning.

Mountain View Police are asking for your help in locating witnesses who were at or who saw an incident occur at the Sports Page early Saturday morning.

An early morning argument at the Sports Page bar resulted in a man driving his car at two people, pinning one of them beneath it.

Around 2:00 am, Mountain View officers responded to the bar, located on the 1000 block of Plymouth Street, for reports of a vehicle collision.

When officers arrived, we learned that a man and a woman had allegedly gotten into an argument with another man inside the Sports Page before attempting to leave.

Once outside in the parking lot, the suspect with whom the pair had allegedly argued got into his vehicle and then drove at the pair.

The suspect then allegedly hit the man and the woman, resulting in the woman being pinned beneath the vehicle as the suspect then attempted to drive away.

Immediately following the collision, bystanders allegedly removed the suspect from the car and proceeded to attack him.

Other bystanders also flipped the vehicle over to remove the trapped woman. All three individuals suffered injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The extent of injuries and the names of those individuals involved is not being released at this time. Because many of the bystanders and witnesses left the area prior to the arrival of officers, police are asking for your help in having anyone with information come forward to provide additional information.
