Lizard found in lunch becomes class pet

Most of us wouldn't be too happy if we found a lizard in our food.

But for one kindergartner in New Jersey, it was a different story.

Five-year-old Faye found a tiny lizard hiding in a salad in her refrigerator this week.

But instead of getting rid of it, the little girl took it into her science class, where it quickly became the new class pet.

The kindergartners ended up naming the lizard "Green Fruitloop".

Faye's teacher is taking care of it,  for now.

The salad where the lizard was found, was bought at a natual foods store.

The store manager says the greens are cleaned, and that the lizzard must have been tucked away in a leaf.
