Body found in vehicle submerged in San Jose pond

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - A man was found dead Wednesday morning in a San Jose pond. 

A van was also found submerged in the pond, but the man's body was floating outside of the vehicle, according to authorities. 

The pond is located at Berryessa and Morrill. A dive team is searching the bottom of the pond for other possible victims out of an abundance of caution. 

At this point, it's unclear what caused the van and the man to end up in the pond.

At this point additional details have not been released.
