Brush fire at Lands End SF quickly contained

San Francisco Fire Department battled a brush fire at San Francisco's Lands End Tuesday evening. 

SF Department of Emergency Management sent out a Nixle alert just before 6 p.m. saying to avoid the area. 

SF Fire said the incident was reported at 5:39 p.m. and contained by 6:11 p.m. It was 1/4 of an acre. There were no injuries and no structures were involved. 

SkyFox was over the situation around 6:05 p.m. and could see light white smoke billowing from the cliff side.
