WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KTVU) - A Lafayette high school teacher was arrested on a warrant for incidents that allegedly occurred while he was babysitting.
According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, 27-year-old Brandon Genest was arrested on a warrant for two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child and three counts of Indecent Exposure.
According to Walnut Creek Police, authorities were investigating claims that Genest had victims inappropriately touch him while he was employed as their babysitter.
Genest, who is a teacher at Bentley School in Lafayette, has worked as a babysitter for families in both Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
He advertised on websites including Sittercity, Urban Sitter, Care, and numerous Facebook groups.
At this point, there are no known additional victims.
Genest is currently on administrative leave while authorities investigate.
